About the event
Our wine tasting nights here at Plonkers are always great fun - and although we always touch briefly on general wine tasting techniques, we tend to focus more on the wines themselves.
This time our sommelier Christine will be focusing on the best ways to get the most enjoyment and appreciation out of what's in your glass! And guess what - putting a pinky up doesn't actually make your wine taste better - who knew?!
This is really for beginners looking to grow their wine tasting confidence but if you're a seasoned taster and a little rusty you're more than welcome too. We'll go over what to look out for in red, white and sparkling wine on the eye, the nose and the palate, the language most commonly used and how to verbalise the sensations you experience when you indulge in this wonderful drink!
You'll be impressing guests at BBQs with your tasting skills in no time!
